Mortal Shell DLC Officially Revealed

After some recent hinting and teasing on their Twitter page, Mortal Shell developer Cold Symmetry unveiled a short trailer for their upcoming DLC. Titled “The Virtuous Cycle”, it appears a new shell, area, weapon, enemies, and possibly other features will be coming this summer. For a visual reference, see the video below.

Mortal Shell was a successful debut title that launched last summer but left most players wanting more. It appears the team at Cold Symmetry has answered the call, and we won’t have much longer to experience this new chapter. For those who haven’t played Mortal Shell, here’s a brief description:

Mortal Shell is a deep action RPG that tests your sanity and resilience in a shattered world. As the remains of humanity wither and rot, zealous foes fester in the ruins. They spare no mercy, with survival demanding superior awareness, precision, and instincts. Track down hidden sanctums of devout followers and discover your true purpose.

The dead litter this tattered landscape, but not all are without hope. The lost remains of defeated warriors are yours to discover. Awaken these Mortal Shells, occupy their bodies and significantly open your understanding to diverse masteries of combat.
