Emberville got an amazing new trailer to announce its presence in the PC realm. Some people have been waiting for a game like this for quite a while, and its coming from the hands of a popular streamer who has some very neat taste in games. This new Top Down RPG is quite the talk in Youtube right now, and its all thanks to the trailer that showcases some gameplay, it really feels like a cross of Dark Souls and Stardew Valley, you even have something akin to a dodge roll along with weapon combos, it truly is a match made in heaven mechanically speaking.
Emberville looks amazing
When this game comes out, I will probably do a review of it, in fact, as soon as it is available I’m willing to check it out if it is possible. This is yet another true indie game that is self published like every true indie game should be. If you like Stardew Valley, and also like the grim world building that many souls likes tend to have, perhaps this is the time for you to wishlist Emberville, I’m sure it will be the biggest game of 2026 if it releases this year.
As always, indie developers make very interesting things, and Emberville is no exception to this rule, it looks like a passionate little project that everyone should try out. Despite the grim nature of the game, it feels like there’s hope in it, you task is to rebuild the town that used to be filled with life, but to achieve that you will have to fight against souls like bosses that will be very tough to beat. The more the town grows the stronger you will get, so make sure to gather resources and make the right calls when managing the town, this will be crucial on how your character will grow.
