Half Sword is unlike many medieval combat simulators cause physics seem to be a huge emphasis on this PC exclusive. Now and early access trailer has dropped showing that there’s more improvements to the game and its systems. It seems that the team behind this one is hellbent in trying to optimize every aspect of it due to the well known ongoing hardware crisis that affects every industry, especially gaming. If you are familiar with games of this kind, perhaps you are even a fan of Mount and Blade as a series, this one might feel right at home for you.
Half Sword gets amazing trailer
The focus on Half Sword is clearly the physics, and it seems that there will be destructible environments and wild interactions you won’t be able to see on other game of this kind. Be it fighting with blades, or even trying to fight barehanded there’s tons of varieties and ways you can do the same thing, that thing being killing your opponent. You can be graceful, or you can be a brute, but considering this is a physics sandbox most of you will enjoy trying to rag doll all NPCs that the game chucks at you.
Games like this are often very fun cause there’s infinite enjoyment on trying to break them apart and do new things with their intricate physics systems. Mount and Blade is still being played today and despite the fact it is not a physics simulator the medieval vibes remain. This one is not serious on analysis, much to the like of many physics simulators, as we can pick from the trailer that was joyfully sung by an actual Jester who really needs to be compensated by his performance. If you are interested, you can try out the demo and if you liked it wishlist Half Sword.
