Code Vein 2

Code Vein 2 just revealed Valentin Voda in a new trailer, this new epic trailer depicts some very interesting lore tidbits that fans of the series will appreciate, as this character is clearly a very important lore piece that expands upon the story behind the legendary Superbia Bloodline. Many Souls-likes are very creative when it comes to lore, and they often obfuscate a ton of it to keep people interested in the world in the long term, essentially living in the back of their minds and formulating theories around them. However, compared to Dark Souls, Code Vein is more direct in approach.

Code Vein 2 gets a new character

Everyone seems to be already liking Valentin Voda, at least when it comes to the fandom, we still don’t know a lot about the role he will play on the story but it is clear it will be an impactful one. If there’s a thing that Code Vein 2 will do different is that it focuses too much on the party this time, and some even speculate there will be some cooperative mode in the future with some updates or even a DLC. You can pre-order the game and play it early, and if you get the Deluxe Edition you will get a ton of stuff like cosmetics and the DLC.

Code Vein is quite the divisive series, but it seems that Code Vein 2 is shaping up to be something interesting and new, while still respecting what makes this series have an identity. It is true that this one has spawned as a spiritual successor to God Eater, and even the general vibes of the game seem to indicate this, but Code Vein as a whole has a new world that deserves to be explored. I hope that Code Vein 2 ends up being amazing.
