The new trailer showcases several new fearsome bosses and nightfarers and as outlined by the official playstation blog, the new characters are called the Scholar and the Undertaker along with two powerful new bosses that you get to fight in the expansion. The Scholar has been described as “boasting impressive arcane levels” and the Undertaker features “impressive strength and faith.” It seems the new additions will also come with distinctly different playstyles which will in turn will enable high replay value for the overall experience.
There’s also a whole new area named The Great Hollow which players can explore and will likely feature deadly foes as well. The new area has been described as “strewn with exotic ruins and temples; sacred towers denoting the remains of an ancient people; and crystals that exude a cursed, life-draining miasma.”
The Forsaken Hollows will make it’s way to Elden Ring Nightreign on December 4th, however no pricing for the expansion has been announced as of yet.
Elden Ring Nightreign is a Multiplayer co-op experience with up to three players where you can either play it alone, in duos or be part of a three-player team. Set in a totally separate Universe, the game brings back many older, classic Bosses from previous FromSoftware titles such as the Nameless King and The Duke’s Dear Freyja. The game was a huge hit upon release with more than 5 million units sold so far along with a ‘mostly positive’ user review rating on Steam.
