The first season for Battlefield 6 is about to kick off on October 28 with it’s official trailer set to come out today at 11 am ET/8 am PT and will provide a glimpse at all the upcoming contents including a new map named Blackwell Fields. Season 1 of Battlefield 6 is the first part of a multi-tiered set of official multiplayer contents slated to arrive at regular intervals, significantly increasing the overall playability and introducing new flavors of gameplay for all players.
The entirety of the first season of Battlefield 6 will play out in three different phases with the first phase named Rogue Ops which will start from the aforementioned date and introduce a new tactical based mode named Strikepoint that will see players in small teams fighting it out across multiple rounds with each player having only one life per round. Also, a new vehicle named APC Traverser Mark 2 will make it’s way into the first phase of season 1 plus three new guns and attachments.
The second phase of Battlefield 6’s first season is named California Resistance and will start from November 18 and bring the Eastwood map with a new mode called Sabotage, along with two new weapons as well. A whole new gameplay feature named Battle Pickups will also be introduced in this phase.
And the last phase of first season is named Winter Offensive which will start on December 9 and will pack a limited time map update called Ice Lock Empire State. A limited time event called Ice Lock will also be part of this phase along with a whole new gameplay modifier named Freeze and an Ice climbing Axe.
In other news of Battlefield 6, EA has recently nerfed several bot-farming portal lobbies which allowed many players to gain XP at a much higher rate and disrupted the overall balance across different groups of players.
