PS6 got a huge reveal so far, and this time Sony and AMD have partnered up for everyone to know that they are still here, trying to fight the impending doom that is having any market share against PC gaming. The futile efforts of the classic rivals, Xbox and Sony, are quite fun to watch however, as the consoles don’t really bring much to the table compared to just getting a good PC in your hands. There is something however that might impress some, but disillusion others, and to be honest the majority of it is pure buzzwords so far. Playstation used to have better days and original titles.
PS6 GPU Architecture looks busted
We seem to be before a beast that runs the Zen 6 architecture, we have to keep that in mind because that’s going very far down the line, this attempts to compete with retail PCs and perhaps it can win. The problem is that building a retail PC in the long run is more worth it than buying one of these overpriced machines that can easily get scalped. Not to mention that PCs have far more uses than a console does when it comes to many things. Now, for the bad parts about this reveal, it seems that most of these features are focused on “AI”.
PS6 seems to be the machine that focuses on making fake graphics, because we have given up on trying to optimize video games and make them good of course. As the industry runs quicker and more demands happen around it, games need to start coming out at a neck break pace that put aside creative and care and replace it with quick games made to cash in on current trends. The sad reality is that this is harming gaming and it will leave a huge stain in its legacy, the PS6 might not be so tempting as it was promoted.
