Sony has announced the Playstation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, unveiling the total lineup of both PS5 and PS4 titles which will be available to download for subscribers from May 20. There are a total of 9 games headed to players on Sony’s platform this month including AAA heavyweights such as Battlefield 5 to sci-fi, neo-noir Soul Hackers 2–providing a wide range of experiences spanning different genres and eras of gaming.
One of the highlights among the lineup of games in the Playstation Plus catalog is Sand Land, which is an Action RPG adaptation based on Akira Toriyama’s (of ‘Dragon Bal’l fame) popular manga of the same name. So if you’re looking for something different in terms of plot and setting in the RPG genre, Sand Land might be the game you need this month.
Other notable entries in the recently announced catalog of games are Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy which is a three-in-one collection of the open world survival S.T.A.L.K.E.R trilogy. Enhanced and upscaled versions of the three games with huge visual uplifts have also just been announced and will make their way on May 20. It’s also confirmed that players who own the original versions will receive the enhanced ones as free upgrades which is definitely welcome.

However, Playstation Plus Premium members are set to get an extra title in this month which is Battle Engine Aquila (for both PS5 and PS4), a sci-fi action game that enables players to control a mobile war vehicle to fend off enemies on both air and land.
