Mechs and Muskets is a new mech game coming to PC in 2026

Mechs and Muskets is a new strategy driven mech game similar to Front Mission coming soon to PC. This new 2D isometric experience tries to blend historical accuracy with new technology. Generals and soldiers are clad with armor and suits that resemble those of older groups of militia. Indie games go crazy with ideas and new implementations of older formulas, since Square Enix is doing absolutely nothing new with the Front Mission series, indies will do it by themselves. Get transported back to older centuries with new technologies in this new isometric strategy game. We at Infinite Start will discuss this new blend of game.

Mechs and Muskets coming soon

2026 is very far for all of us, but there’s still plenty of new indie titles that are constantly releasing, and you can play all of them for cheap. In this alternate timeline to our world that Mechs and Muskets provides, both men and machines clash in an epic struggle for domination. Will you lead your squad to victory in the Emperor’s name, or perhaps you will be crushed under the weight of steel and gunpowder? We still don’t know soon since the game is not releasing yet, there’s not even a demo to play.

The game boasts a Deep Customization system, one where you can build and upgrade your squad with unique mech parts. You may also want to equip them with different weapons, armor, and abilities to adapt to your play style or counter the strategies of your foes. Trying to balance these mechanics are often quite a chore for the average indie developer, but we are certain the the team behind Mechs and Muskets will do its best to ensure balanced and engaging gameplay.

If you are interested in this new game, you can try to wishlist this new title to give motivation to the developer. That way, they are sure the game has garnered enough reception to make its development worth it.
