The glaring Scent Trail in Marvel’s Wolverine which lets Logan follow and detect other characters in the game, has been a major source of backlash among players ever since the game came out, leading to accusations of excessive and unnecessary hand holding that can really get in the flow of the overall experience. And if you didn’t like that blue trail previously, now you can turn it off completely as developer Insomniac has just released a new patch that allows players to toggle the trails off, along with several other wavy visual cues as well, providing a much more customizable gameplay experience.

This update includes Senses toggles for Whisky Bottle Scent Trails, Material Crate Audio Clues, and Nightmare Door Roots. It also addresses several community-reported crashes and bugs.

The newest update for Wolverine also fixes several crashes that were reported by players, along with multiple annoying glitches including the titular character’s claws getting stuck while sliding down a tree.
Marvel’s Wolverine is available in two different editions–the Standard edition of the game will cost you $69.99 while the Digital Deluxe version sports a price tag of $79.99. There’s no mention of a collector’s edition that’s geared towards enthusiasts so if you were hoping for physical collectibles like statues and maybe action figures, looks like there won’t be any of that.
