007 First Light already features multiple real-life stars in it’s huge cast which now also includes a major Tiktok star named Khaby Lame in a small, cameo role. He makes his appearance in a short clip that’s been posted on Instagram where Bond asks for directions to Khaby Lame’s in-game character while standing in front of a signpost and Lame makes several exasperated gestures along with the same deadpan facial expressions that he is widely known for. His addition, although quite short, brings a touch of dramatic flair in what could’ve been the usual pathfinding sequence in a large map.
“You will meet a familiar face in Vietnam,” IO Interactive wrote. “Khaby Lame joins the cast of 007 First Light and is part of a globetrotting adventure as James Bond sets out to #EarnTheNumber. We worked closely with Khaby to get him scanned and design his outfit for this re-imagined origin story.”
Lame is currently the most-followed user on TikTok and aside from his immense popularity on social media, he was also featured in a battle pass in Fortnite back in 2023 while also appearing as a judge on Italia’s Got Talent in the same year.
The gameplay of 007 First Light’s first 13 minutes are also available to watch on Youtube which showcases a tense and thrilling stealth section, hinting that this is going to be a Bond adventure unlike anything we’ve ever seen, in any medium.
007 First Light boasts an impressive, star studded cast of Dexter: Original Sin’s Patrick Gibson as the new James Bond, Fear the Walking Dead’s Lennie James as Bond’s mentor John Greenway, Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, Kiera Lester as Moneypenny and Noémie Nakai as Miss Roth.
007: First Light launchs across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on May 27. Also, check out the newly updated and final system requirements for the upcoming title, ranging all the way from Minimum to Ultra.
