Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight has been cracked in 24 hours, which is a crazy record considering this game has Denuvo on top of it. Considering how unpopular the decision to put Denuvo on the game was, it is justified that people want to get it for free via other means. Not to mention that the game apparently does not run that well from a performance standpoint and requires you to have decent hardware. There’s tons of controversies surrounding Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight and it might end up becoming a flop if things don’t pan out correctly for TT Games.
Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
At the very least, the game is good since its a Lego game, but the performance of it does not justify the fact that it is still a Lego game at the end of the day. It really makes me wanna play the PS2 Lego Batman games instead of actually engaging with this one despite how good it is. We live in a reality where games come badly optimized out of the box, no matter how good your hardware is, and prices only keep increasing thanks to current fads.
As PC components become more expensive thanks to the “AI” crisis, developers should be focusing on optimizing games. Unfortunately for the developers, publishers just want to see things done more quickly, regardless of how broken they might end up being. 99% of the time, it never really is the fault of the devs, yet people keep complaining about them as if they had any control of what’s going on. The harsh reality is that the industry is controlled by businessmen that don’t even care about gaming or having fun, they just wanna see money roll in no matter what.
