Killer Bean is back, and while its meme fame is clearly not the same as it was many years ago it still holds the potential to make some sort of come back. This new game might end up expanding the legacy left by the original film, and it seems to be coming for PC only. So far, it seems that this is a legit operation from the original creations to attempt and cash in on the nostalgia for this relatively old internet meme that spawned a huge fan base of creators. Hopefully this is a genuine attempt at some sort of creativity rather than some cash grab since we deal with those a lot.

I didn’t expect I would see something like this but here we are, so far 2026 is shaping up to be a crazy year in many aspects, and gaming is yet another of those aspects that seems to be affected by the insanity of it all. It almost feels as if the world was just betting on crazy things to keep itself running, but who really knows what’s up in this day and age. I embrace the crazy things that happen in the industry as long as they are good, and Killer Bean is something I appreciate to see in a world so filled with monotony and hopelessness.
As ludicrous as it might sound, I really have a feeling this Killer Bean game might end up being some sort of sleeper hit that attempts parodying common tropes of the Shooter genre. There’s not much to expect however, so lowering your expectations might end up being the wisest choice you can make to still be surprised if something ends up happening. Regardless, the game will be dropping in June 8 of 2026, so make sure to wishlist it on Steam.
