Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is one of the most anticipated online games of 2026, this new entry in the legendary PC series is gonna be something huge and everyone should give it a try. There is an announcement in the official Steam page of the game where they summon all of us to stress test their servers by playing some random online games against each other, and I will definitely be there to try things out. It is important to note that we only need to download the demo to do this, there’s nothing to lose money wise, and if you didn’t like the experience then you won’t be buying the game anyways.

It might be one of the biggest games in the series, rivaling the complexity of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 if you ask me which just happens to be the epitome of the series for many. It’s been years since we didn’t get a new game like this and the fact that it pretty much plays the same as the previous decades old entries shows us that there is a commitment to loyalty from the developers. There’s also tons of fate in the publisher and developer too, as both take an Anti-AI stance when it comes to game development, ensuring that what they create is not only ethical but of quality.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era has to be one of my most anticipated games of 2026, and I really hope that it manages to succeed in today’s day and age. We need more complex strategy games that challenge us with interesting mechanics and tactics, gamers have grown quite comfortable being guided and protected by current strategy titles. Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era might be their next step in their strategic journey, and a challenging one at that.
