Death Stranding 2 PC version just managed to sell the game even more to people who didn’t have access to consoles. This is amazing for those who are fans of the series and for Kojima Productions itself. Following the bizarre nature of the first game the sequel does not disappoint with an even more bizarre turn of events, and it might be one of the most artful games in the medium so far when it comes to 2026. I really hope this one gets some awards because the team behind it put tons of effort into making this vision true.
Death Stranding 2 PC is successful
A boost in total sales is always the kind of news one wants to see when it comes to porting, and it seems that our guys at Kojima Productions managed to do it just right. Finally we can get to play this instant classic on PC, and for those who still didn’t get into the series then I highly recommend it. There’s a ton to unravel, and its also very hard to explain because you really need to experience it by yourself, its a pretty weird game to say the least. While its also a divisive game, you should really give it a chance.
But weirdness is what the medium lacks nowadays, Death Stranding was that breath of fresh air that the industry needed to keep being relevant, because without quirkiness we wouldn’t reach anywhere. We need more weird games, more weird ideas and more outlandish concepts because games are art, and art should explore things in different angles. Even the creator of Nier Automata cites that the industry is in a crisis due to the lack of “weird” developers who want to bring crazy ideas. And honestly? Let’s make art crazy again with more wild ideas like that of the Death Stranding series.
