Thank You Bus Driver just got a trailer and it will be releasing on PC, this is great because Double Fine just went independent and its now free from the grip of Xbox and Microsoft. Seeing this developer become an indie shows that the real path for game making is just sticking to games like this, because if we have to rely on triple A developers and publishers we will be dying of boredom most of the time. Capcom seems like the only one that makes sense nowadays, thanks to the recent Onimusha, but that was an oddity to see like Pragmata.

This is basically a bus driver simulator, and it really makes me remember of things like Densha De Go!!, a Japanese series about bullet trains and you having to drive them perfectly. Of course, I’m very sure that this one will have some surreal twist because we are speaking about Double Fine after all, the people who made Psychonauts a thing. If you are curious, I feel like the best thing you can do is wishlist it, Double Fine would appreciate that help because without them, we wouldn’t have some amazing games.
By wishlisting a game you can help a developer out with their algorithm, and since Double Fine is indie they would highly benefit from this because bigger companies take all the space on PC. Thank You Bus Driver has a very unique aesthetic and it might end up being what sells the game to many. People are very happy with this reveal, and Double Fine is communicative about their projects so far, citing that they will definitely being doing way more than just this in the future. Considering various projects of different sizes are thing, maybe a Psychonauts game can also happen.
