Metro 2039 just got a release date trailer, and the game also looks quite impressive, not to mention it is also quite violent and realistic as any post apocalyptic game should be. The game is coming in 2027, to be precise it might be dropping in February 4th, of course we have to count on the fact that this one shouldn’t be dropping right in that date because delays can happen. It looks like a complex game, so definitely if they wanna polish things they will have to do some heavy lifting with the engine to do so if you ask me.

If you are a fan of the Metro series, this is a game you need to get because its getting more and more insane with each new entry. Metro Exodus is considered by many as one of the best in the series, but we still have to see what will this one offer. Made by 4A Games, this will tell your typical story about a post apocalyptic Moscow, something that many players are already familiar with, but who knows what twists and turns they will throw at us this time with this new entry. If you are new to the series, I feel like this can be a good starting point.
Metro 2039 might be the thing that displaces the upcoming Fallout project considering that Xbox is pretty much falling apart and that franchise doesn’t have a good future ahead. I believe that with enough polishing, this game has the potential to become the game of the year 2027, and it would be nice to see that happen considering that this series is pretty good and does many things better than Fallout. Mainly, trying to represent a realistic apocalyptic scenario more grounded in proper events.
