The announcement lands in the middle of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled “Override,” a season heavily themed around legendary crossover characters from across the gaming landscape.
Alongside Sora, social media teasers published by Epic Games point toward the addition of several other core cast members, including Riku, Kairi, and Roxas. Gameplay will also feature the iconic Kingdom Key as a Mythic tier weapon. Sharp-eyed fans noted that the weapon’s standard Mickey Mouse keychain emblem has been swapped out for a Fortnite Supply Llama, blending the aesthetics of both franchises.
