Microlandia is getting a public beta test for its new 2.0 version, and this is huge because you can be a tester too if you desire. This is pretty much a Sim City like, but for PC, so if you enjoy something where you can manage the economy, build cities, and expand them too, I feel like Microlandia is the game you need to get. It is also quite a cheap indie game too, the very first one made by Information Superhighway Games, and I wish this indie team ends up becoming very successful the more games they make in the future.
Microlandia gets bigger
The new 2.0 version will be huge, like every good 2.0 version should be, as they have added a ton of new features that bring life to the game and ensure you can keep playing for more time than you did before. New buildings and types of cities are now possible thanks to this update, the biggest highlight being the ability to make Garden Cities, this is great for anyone who wishes to make anything remotely ecologically viable. Alas, I’m not sure this will be enough to get people playing Microlandia as there is a ton of options available for people who want to play this genre.
I believe that there needs to be some signification improvements in the core flow of the game, perhaps this update will give the ability to do more things, but it will have to be tested first. This is why the developers are opening the ability to test the game by yourself before the update drops, so if you are willing to do some free work for some stranger, I feel like you might want to jump into this game. Indie developers deserve all the support and feedback they can get.
