Maneater 2 is coming in 2027, at least from what the trailer mentions. This comes after the original Maneater drops in GOG the move makes sense because they need to gauge interest in the new title and ensure everyone plays the first one. The game is very crazy, if you have ever seen the Jaws movies, you can pretty much expect something like this but in video game form. If you enjoy the thrill of action and being chased by something wild, I’m very sure that Maneater 2 will end up being a great game that you need to play.

If you aren’t a fan of gore however, perhaps you should skip this one because it can get quite violent and grisly, there is many other games to enjoy. However, if you somehow enjoy the sheer display of violence and action combined into a neat package that brings hours of fun, you should really look into the Maneater series. Hopefully, Maneater 2 happens to be a great game that improves upon the elements provided by the first entry, and since the team behind it has a lot of experience designing games, I’m sure that will be the case for this one.
Oftentimes, the first game in a franchise exists to test the waters and see how well the public reception ends up being, considering Maneater was dropped in GOG, I would say there is some care about the franchise due to its success, even if it was some cult classic. Maneater 2 should also be dropping on GOG, as it would be a shame that people don’t get to choose if they wanna own what they buy or not. If it drops only on Steam, perhaps in the future the developers will decide to put it on the GOG storefront if people request it.
