Blizzard Entertainment is bringing the dark, gothic world of Sanctuary into the physical realm with Diablo: The Infernal Path, an official walk-through haunted attraction debuting this fall for the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Developed through a direct partnership with Six Flags, the location-based experience will launch across two major regional events: Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends in Ohio and Kings Dominion’s Halloween Haunt in Virginia.
The narrative premise places visitors directly inside Sanctuary after a forbidden ritual shatters the boundary separating the mortal world from the Burning Hells. Guests navigating the maze will move through tight corridors and corrupted environments engineered to replicate the dark atmosphere of the action-RPG series. The walkthrough incorporates close-range encounters with several of the franchise’s most recognizable bosses, including The Butcher, Duriel, Baal, Mephisto, Lilith, and Lord Diablo.
While the long-running series has participated in numerous digital crossovers since its inception in 1996, The Infernal Path marks the first time Blizzard has adapted the IP into a full-scale physical theme park attraction. Entry to the maze will be bundled with the standard Haunted Attractions Pass at both participating locations throughout the 2026 Halloween season.
The announcement aligns with broader anniversary plans for the franchise, complementing news updates expected during BlizzCon 2026 later this year. By translating three decades of dark fantasy imagery into a tangible haunted house experience, Blizzard and Six Flags are delivering a novel offline expansion for one of PC and console gaming’s most influential RPG series.
