Developer The Coalition has just announced the final PC system requirements for the hotly anticipated Gears of War: E-Day including three different visual quality presets along with target performance levels. The presets are named ‘Minimum’, ‘Recommended’ and ‘Ultra’ and aside for the last one, both of them should be relatively accessible for most players in 2026, which ranges from an older NVIDIA RTX 2060 to the newer Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 and an AMD Radeon RX 6600 and a Radeon RX 6700 XT.
As for the CPU in the ‘Minimum’ specifications, you’ll need at least an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel i7-6850K or Intel i5-10400 which sounds pretty reasonable in 2026.
Check out the full range of PC specifications for the upcoming Gears of War: E-Day:
The PC version of Gears of War: E-Day also brings Nvidia DLSS 5, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 3.0 upscaling technologies along with all the latest in graphical technologies such as hardware ray-traced reflections, shadows, and global illumination. An extensive built-in benchmark mode will also be included (like in Gears 5) plus support for both HDR and ultra-wide monitors.
However, as seen in the recent beta version of the game, there’s probably a ‘Ludicrous’ visual quality setting in the final build which is geared for ultra-high-end CPU and GPUs and can put even some of the top-of-the-line GPUs available on their knees, when playing at 4K, of course.
The standard edition of Gears of War: E-Day comes at $69.99 while the premium version costs $99 which also includes the following bonus contents:
- Up to 5-Days Early Access
- Bravo Squad Signature Weapon Pack
- Five Seasonal Customization Packs, starting with the Emergence Pack at launch (the remaining packs will be available as released)
- 1,000 Iron (premium in-game currency)
Gears of War: E-Day is set to release on October 6, 2026 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
