Stranger than Heaven might be one of the most amazing games released by the studio behind the Yakuza series, which has now been renamed to Like A Dragon to match the original title. This will also be a PC release, and a new trailer shows us what we can probably expect to see in the game most of the time. It’s amazing how combat is so realistic and brutal, not to mention that it also looks like its gonna be challenging. This will definitely be not a game for everyone, only for those gamers who have decided that they want to experience the ultimate challenge in the modern days.
Stranger Than Heaven looks wild
Coming in 2027, Stranger than Heaven will have us traveling through the life of Makoto Daito, and with the story of his life come many struggles we will have to go through. This is sort of a coming of age story filled with action and a roller coaster of emotions that will surprise us at every turn. Stranger Than Heaven will also happen to be quite a familiar game for those people who played the Yakuza or Like A Dragon series, after all its developed by the same studio.
There’s tons of similarities out there, and sometimes this is needed to keep things familiar yet different. While I believe that IPs should be fundamentally different to keep variety in the gaming world, its fine to get something like this from time to time, the execution is what matters. Execution is a skill that only us can carry out, and its something that appears in every work we do with our own hands. I wonder how Stranger Than Heaven will end up being considering its still in active development, hopefully its the start of something great and fresh.
