Wild Terra 2 New Lands is free to keep before offer ends

Wild Terra 2 New Lands

Wild Terra 2 New Lands is free to keep, and it recently got some new updates to boot, you can add the game to your Steam library before the offer ends in June 15th, so be quick. However, I’m not really sure if it is worth it considering the quality of the game and the opinion of others on it. I played it for a bit before when it was free to keep for the first time, and I thought it was not the best experience. Not to mention that it is also quite the greedy game in a way, with many editions to buy and micro transactions.

Wild Terra 2 New Lands is free

However the first Wild Terra is also free, there’s no reason for this version to have been a paid game but here we are. This is an independent game as it does not seem to rely on publishers, so it is quite an ambitious project to tackle a game like this when you don’t have enough money. Yet, people aren’t very interested in games like this anymore because they happen to be massive time sinks that give you nothing in exchange for playing them, aside from maybe some online friends.

Wild Terra 2 New Lands could be a better game, but it chooses to remain on the greedy path many games as a service have been threading for decades. If they ever make Wild Terra 3 for some reason, that one will have to stick being a game that lives forever because of the Stop Killing Games law that benefits both players and creators alike, creators who don’t like seeing their games taken offline, which are everyone in the industry. Games as a service has been a huge mistake, and Wild Terra 2 New Lands does seem to be on a similar route, at least it is free I guess.
