Garfield Escape from Monday just got an amazing trailer, and its coming very soon to PC on September 24th. This is unexpected as the game was pretty much announced out of nowhere while Bubsy was busy taking over the spot. It is crazy that Bubsy out of all games was the one making a grandiose return while Garfield just happens to be a side event. Regardless, the world of gaming is rather crazy these days, revivals of many old series are happening and I certainly didn’t expect a new Garfield game that is a 3D platformer. Hopefully this one ends up being a fun one.
Garfield Escape from Monday coming soon
We will have to help Garfield escape from Chef Monday, a dastardly villain that wants to make Garfield consume vegetables, a thing our orange feeling loathes. It is up to us to escape the world of Monday, to try and escape from nutritious henchmen that will make our life impossible. The art style is quite vibrant and cartoonish, although I couldn’t help but feel that the cinematics shown in the trailer feel very outdated by today’s standards. Hopefully this is only a trailer thing and they are polishing up some aspects.
Garfield Escape from Monday is coming very soon, so the best thing you can do is wishlist the game to ensure the people behind get noticed. Steam always prioritizes the race of the wishlist, with the most wishlisted game often being shown in the store without people having to search for it. Hopefully there is a ton of gimmicks present in the game that makes each stage feel like something unique, similar to how the older Garfield games used to play out. A 3D platformer is quite ambitious, and its also surprising to see it happen in 2026.
