Final Fantasy VII Revelation is coming in 2027, so if you were waiting for the final part of this remake you will have to wait a bit more for it to release. Considering what has been happening with shifts in exclusivity for consoles, we might have to wait for a bit for this entry to release on PC. This will be the last part, and it is clear that the battle against Sephiroth will be glorious, yet we still don’t know what the remake is trying to build, as we have seen the history has taken unprecedented turns along the road making it different from the original PS1 game.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation coming soon
If we are lucky, nothing will change the fact that it will release in multiple platforms including PC, however, considering the recent strategy shift of Sony and some considerations by Xbox, it seems that exclusives might be making a comeback. Developers like Square Enix do want the money however, so they will do everything in their power so this game can reach many people and nobody has to wait to play the last part and get spoiled, its been years of waiting for Final Fantasy VII Revelation after all.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation seems to show that the Ruby Weapon and other weapons will take an important role in the story, which is a change considered that they were relegated to super bosses in the original game. I’m curious on how they will adapt the battles, if they decide to even make them a thing in the first place alongside having the time limit be present. There’s a ton of directions where they can push this considering the story is different, but the most probable thing is that they might just make it as close as possible without compromising much things hopefully.
