Crazy Taxi World Tour was a title that got teased some years ago, now we live with the disappointment that it will be forever tainted with “AI“. This is a big disgrace for gaming, as it shows that some people working on the medium do not seem to care about making things right. The tool excuse does not fit as it essentially becomes a time waster when you could have made things yourself better on the first try. Not to mention the usage of the tool has been reported to be more tied to financial suicide rather than actual productivity and savings.
Crazy Taxi World Tour is slop
It does not even look that well compared to the original game from more than 20 years ago, the name has been tainted now and there is now hope for this one to be successful. I would have hoped that SEGA would be the company to uphold some standards, but it seems that Nintendo keeps taking the high ground with all the right calls, showing that the legendary rival has fallen from grace for a long time now. A way to recover the trust of people would be to cease the use of the slop machine and offer some apologies.
Crazy Taxi World Tour was something many expected, but now the enthusiasm is underground and potential sales have been hampered which is crazy considering that by using “AI” you are basically burning tokens that cost way more than hiring a person to do things. It is beyond insane, but as we know it the upper suite of managers does not know what things keep companies stable and alive, let alone know what goes into the making of a game and how important is to let people express themselves during this process. Shame on you SEGA, tarnishing Crazy Taxi’s legacy.
