Even with Rockstar’s open world behemoth GTA 6 on the horizon, publisher Take-Two Interactive has a massive number of games slated to be released till fiscal year 2029 which include debuting new franchises, upcoming sequels, remakes as well as platform extensions of several current IPs. Several days ago, Take-Two announced its earnings for the fiscal year ending in 2026 which also unveiled the company’s schedule for launching 29 upcoming titles in the time window of FY2027 to FY2029.
And among those games, there will be 8 sports titles which are likely the 2027 versions of some of the company’s biggest yearly franchises such as WWE 2K, NBA 2K and PGA Tour 2K, a total of 3 mobile games plus 15 new titles pertaining to their core IPs that also include GTA 6 which is slated to release on November 19 this year.
Also, part of those 15 new titles are three new games from Take-Two’s core IP franchises and two of them are known so far–Judas from former Bioshock creator Ken Levine’s Ghost Story Games studio and Project Ethos from developer 31st Union. Plus, the current roadmap also has room for more changes in the lineup of titles which we’ll find out at some point in the future.
“These titles are a snapshot of our current development pipeline. It is likely that some of these titles will not be developed through completion, that launch timing may change, and that we will also be adding new titles to our slate,” said the company in their official report.
However, all eyes are on the upcoming GTA 6 which is easily the most anticipated videogame of all time with it’s official marketing campaign set to kick off this summer and will possibly feature a new trailer plus new gameplay videos and more.
GTA 6 is currently slated to launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
