Based on the reports of a reliable insider, the Days of Play sale event from Playstation will be returning as early as May 27 this year and offer discounts on a wide range of games along with reduced prices on various accessories. According to Dealabs, the upcoming Days of Play sale event is set to kick off on May 27 and will run until June 10, providing two full weeks to get all the best deals for the console and more. Also, the deals could be pretty similar to what we saw in the Black Friday sale that took place last year.
In addition to the dates of the upcoming massive sale event, Dealabs has also provided some of the expected offers that you can get from this year’s Days of Play which are the following:
- The Dualsense controller will be available at a €20 discount, making it’s starting price €54.99.
- The DualSense Edge controller will receive a €30 discount, making it’s price drop to €189.99 from the earlier €219.99.
- The PSVR2 headset could receive the biggest discount, with a €100 reduction from it’s original price, making it available at €349.99 from it’s earlier price of a whopping €449.99.
- Ghost of Yotei may also see a great discount, bringing it’s price down to €54.99 from the regular price of €79.99.
- A €20 discount may be available on the Pulse Elite headphones along with the Pulse Explore earphones.
- PlayStation Plus subscribers may receive an additional
5% discount for all PlayStation Direct deals, which can also be combined with other Days of Play offers. Plus, retailers will also feature their own discounts during the sale.
However, the reports also mention that the consoles themselves such as the base PS5, the PS5 Pro or the PS Portal consoles may not see any discount at all, and it’s currently unknown why. And while the recent price increases could be one possible reason for this, we may be able to find out soon enough.
