The event follows on the heels of a massive player resurgence triggered by the late-April release of the Lord of Hatred expansion, giving both returning veterans and new players an immediate incentive to keep grinding through Sanctuary.
The cornerstone of the anniversary celebration is a five-day giveaway of exclusive weapon and armor cosmetics. Starting June 1 at 12:00 PM PDT, players can log into the in-game shop to claim a new free reward every 24 hours until June 6. The daily rotation includes the Blood Raven’s Talon one-handed sword, King Kanai’s Last Stand shield, the Nangari Wounder dagger, the Overlord’s Odium two-handed axe, and the Flamefinger’s Claws glaive. All unlocked cosmetics must be claimed from the store before the entire event concludes on June 9.
Alongside the daily login gifts, Blizzard is bringing back two of the game’s most popular community events: Mother’s Blessing and the March of the Goblins. The Mother’s Blessing modifier will provide a substantial boost to both experience points and gold generation across all core activities. This bonus arrives at a critical time for the community, offering a prime window for players to finish leveling their current seasonal characters or rapidly spin up a secondary class to experiment with Season 13’s top-tier builds.
For those hunting for rare gear, the March of the Goblins will drastically increase the spawn rates of Treasure Goblins throughout the open world. The event features a dedicated Reputation Board that rewards players with endgame crafting essentials, including Resplendent Sparks for Mythic gear, alongside the Regalia of the Sacred Creed mount armor. The increased spawns serve as a timely consolation prize for the community, arriving just after Blizzard deployed a backend patch to fix a highly publicized, broken Treasure Goblin farming exploit.
