PUNK looks gorgeous, and you can even confirm this by watching the trailer of this new PC game that brings a crazy combination of genres to the table. An Open world that is also a bullet hell but it has Roguelike progression, its crazy what indie developers can come up with. And from the looks of it, it seems the developers are just a duo of family members, their skills combined made something genuinely awesome to check out. We still don’t know when it will drop, but while you are waiting you have the chance to join a playtest to see how things go with it.

It might be dropping in 2026, but it might also be dropping next year, games take quite a while to make especially if you wanna have something that looks and plays good. Games do feel like the ultimate art form cause it combines multiple disciplines together to give something final, so you require skills like drawing, being competent with music, and also making code that works. There’s more aspects but these are often the ones that a game needs, but considering this is an art medium sometimes you might take different approaches with it.
PUNK clearly feels like it fits the category of a regular game, yet the wild combination of genres shows that this is truly a one of a kind experience that will be very hard to replicate.
