Crymelight is an action Roguelike with RPG elements in the mix, and it will be yet another retelling of the popular story of Alice in Wonderland. This new PC game will be releasing in some months more, but we first have to wait for a while until it happens. This is yet another indie title to look forward to in this world where the dominance of triple A gaming is waning, there’s still much to do but cracks are starting to manifest around the more popular part of the industry. It truly feels like the only games that will keep the medium moving forward are those made by smaller developers.

This studio has lots of experience in developing games, and there’s games they didn’t publish on Steam, so we can trust that this one will be yet another amazing entry to enjoy coming from this circle. Indie games like Crymelight are genuinely keeping things afloat when some big companies focus on cutting costs and laying down their loyal staff.

It was the Japanese who pretty much kickstarted the whole trend of indies with various examples from before people in other parts of the world started making games. Many people remember Hollow Knight, but this actually wasn’t the first example of an indie game, older people will often remember how Cave Story caused the explosion on the scene, and how out of it we got so many amazing games by people like us.
