MOUSE P.I For Hire is almost ready to be released, it just need a few adjustments but the trailer released right now is just fantastic. I’m very sure when this game drops it will have an amazing release and everything will work out perfectly. Tons of cool ideas often come from small development studios, this seems like a hard process to develop by a single indie developer alone, and teams of people often do a ton of the heavy lifting for projects such as this. MOUSE P.I For Hire is an ode to retro cartoons and boomer shooters from the looks of it.

The game is looking amazing, and honestly I would be willing to review it if I ever get the chance to do so, I’ve always liked old cartoons in style so a full shooter game in this style is crazy. The fact that there’s so many games in so many styles helps depict that gaming is a vast medium with different ways of expression and identity, and we truly need to preserve this variety. Variety is the spice of life after all, and if this things don’t get protected and end up falling to the plague of being amalgamated into something samey.
Games often try to reflect the identity of those who make them, and it is clear by the vibes given by this project that the people involved with it really love old cartoons. Hopefully the gameplay is as good as it looks, but considering it comes from the hand of a small studio I’m very sure that they can put something fun that entertains everyone. We are very reliant on the talent of small developers and indie developers, since the triple A industry has been quite disappointing lately.
