Life is Strange: Reunion just got released on PC and fans of the series seem to be loving this one, although some feel disappointed that they just keep milking the same characters for more screen time and cheap reactions. Its understandable to keep being stuck in the past considering how many things are going wrong nowadays, but sometimes you just need to change a character cast to avoid making them feel worthless with so much of them being used everywhere. Leaving that aside, the general sentiment around this game seems positive, which is a good thing.
Life is Strange: Reunion is out
Published by Square Enix, this is a very atypical game in their repertoire that has been going for quite a while now, some see Square Enix as the Final Fantasy company yet this game is clearly pretty American or foreign as a whole. Back in the day people were surprised about this one, and controversy also used to happen too for people who didn’t like reading text in games. Thankfully we have come a long way with this because visual novels and other text intensive genres are getting very popular lately.
This is a good thing because games are an art piece that must be understood by people, some use words, some don’t but there should be freedom on how you wanna make games, no matter if a minority tells you to stop doing them this way. Life is Strange: Reunion seems to mark the end of the arc for these beloved characters that have accompanied people for years now, some feel emotional, and some feel like they want more of this story. Hopefully this is the closing chapter, because extending things further beyond can often degrade the quality of a beloved series. If you are interested you should buy Life is Strange: Reunion.
