Dead or Alive 6 came out back in 2019, and Team Ninja did not have immediate plans to work on a sequel. That is until today when the studio announced it is working on Dead or Alive 7.
During today’s State of Play presentation, Team Ninja shared it is now working on a new Dead or Alive game currently in development for the PS5 console. They did not specifically say Dead or Alive 7, but it will be the seventh main entry in the series.
A trailer did not show much either than Hayabusa and Kasumi fighting one another in what I assume is Team Ninja’s improved game engine for the series. Check out the trailer below.
While we wait for that game to come out, Dead or Alive 6 Last Round will be out first for the PS5 console later this year. This is a re-release of the 2019 version of the game will more characters and costumes than what was included in the base game.
A free-to-play version of Dead or Alive 6 will also be available to download later this year as well.
