Pirates Rogue's Fortune

Pirates Rogue’s Fortune just got an amazing demo, this new PC title is the dream of an independent developer who wanted to make something for decades now, and his journey has concluded with this title. It is so nice to see a ton of people making new things for the medium, although it feels like there is constantly something new which makes it very hard to keep your attention on something unique. This is not to say that Pirates Rogue’s Fortune shouldn’t have come out but I fear that if I don’t talk about it, it will get lost to the sea of games.

Pirates Rogue’s Fortune looks fun

Being the first game made by the developer that is public to play from what I know, Pirates Rogue’s Fortune showcases some interesting roguelite gameplay that can make people hooked to the idea of playing more and more runs. The cool part of games like this is the massive replay value that they bring to the table, often beating other games in price when it comes to the hours of fun they provide. The demo is free to try, and it seems that the game will first launch in an Early Access state to keep updating it.

It is coming very soon too, on March 4th of 2026 we will be able to enjoy this new entry in the indie space. There’s nothing more to be said about NINPO Game Studio, the creator behind the game, it seems to just be an indie group with plans to expand in the future depending on how this venture goes. I highly recommend people to check out the demo to see if the roguelite elements are just right for them, I personally didn’t mind them at all, while the game didn’t capture me like Balatro, I think it has great potential.
