Phonopolis is looking like quite the gorgeous game on PC, if you were looking for something with an unique art style and with many things to tell, this might be the game you are searching for. A game about rebelling about society has no right of looking this stylish, the cardboard style is really well made and it provides a sense of something unique and artsy that should be a part of every indie game made. We play as Felix, a rebel who has isolated itself with his own headphones and is failing to listen the command of the speakers and its leader.
Phonopolis is coming soon
Based on works like those written by George Orwell, Phonopolis is ready to be quite the cardboard dystopia, but that does not mean that the game will just acquire a sad and moody tone but it will try to make a spin on it. This is excellent for people who do not wish to engage with sad stories and often miss out on good ones that reveal various aspects of society, broadening the rate at which people end up learning about these things. Ideally, everyone would act like Felix to prevent becoming a drone to society.
This one will be a point and click with many puzzles to solve and tons of things to accomplish, so perhaps we should be careful with how we do our choices because we might end up getting arrested by the guards. There isn’t multiple endings and the story is lineal, which means this is an excellent game for those who wanna do a single play through. Amanita Design is a prolific indie studio known for games like Machinarium so if you haven’t tried any of their games yet this is your golden chance to do so. Go, and free society from the rule of the Leader of Phonopolis.
