Forza Horizon 6 should provide a better alternative aside from login into the game for the first time to then play it offline, but for now this will work momentarily as long as you don’t uninstall the game which will surely be a huge file. Complains are valid, and the Forza Horizon series has slowly moved more and more towards the path of an always online experience, but thanks to the fact that Stop Killing Games exists as a movement we need to request the developers to implement a way to host the online services ourselves.
Forza Horizon 6 will have offline
While there’s some strings attached to this it is progress in the right direction, and hopefully someday we will be able to remove every obtuse requirement from the games we buy. It is obvious that this is made to ensure that people just buy the newest installment because if they don’t there wouldn’t be tons of reasons to switch to a new game unless something huge was changed. There’s still plethora of players enjoying what Gran Turismo 4 has to offer and even when Gran Turismo 7 is the newest entry available they don’t wish to move to that car wreck.
Forza Horizon 6 should hopefully be an amazing game in the series, one that justifies the wait and also gives us more reasons to ask for an offline mode. Think about it, sometimes you will need to uninstall some programs or even move to a new PC, if you uninstall this game and it is always online, in the case you don’t have a stable internet connection you won’t be able to play it. This is why we need to push the team behind Forza Horizon 6, kindly of course, to remove such outdated measures from cool games like this. Our wallets will be thankful if we push against this.
