Lords of the Fallen 2 is being hyped up by every Souls-like fan out there, and even some fans of the dark fantasy genre are aiming to give it a try as their first Souls-like. A trailer revealed at the game awards shows us that the gameplay is gonna be amazing and the team has been focused on trying to polish the formula while keeping it respectful to the core game. The original Lords of the Fallen from 2014 is quite messy according to many, the bulky movement is what caused the game to feel wrong along with the presence of weird physics. The team did fix that with a remake in 2023 however.
Lords of the Fallen 2 is coming
People have been waiting for years for a proper sequel, it is curious to see that the original one released in 2014 is still available for purchase and its currently sitting at a nice 95% discount. While that game is very clunky there is some charm in a Souls-like that is even slower than the average Dark Souls game, when gamers ask about realism perhaps this is the kind of game they think off and that they should try if they are real gamers. Lords of the Fallen 2 does not even have a page on Steam yet, but the team is focused on polishing the experience.
We really don’t know when the game will come for sure, aside from the fact that its dropping in 2026 for a variety of platforms including PC. When they don’t drop an specific date for it, it means that they are just waiting for the right time to release it. 2026 is going to be a very fun year, apparently GTA VI is coming in late 2026 if things get solved, but as long as the union busting persist perhaps Lords of the Fallen 2 will come before GTA VI.
