Knights in a Different SpaceTime bring us something crazy, such as knights wielding guns, but also swords and other upgrades. This new PC game is the debut title of a small indie studio who wanted to experiment by making something bizarre. The trailer is crazy and there is a ton of things that occur during it, mainly the reveal of stages and some enemy waves that get mowed apart by the player character. There seems to be a focus on the SpaceTime element because the stage designs also fit different archetypes such as natural medieval scenes and futuristic machinery environment.
Knights in a Different SpaceTime is out
The game recently released, and it is priced at quite the affordable price point, there is some many games to play nowadays that it feels like you can’t catch a break each time a new release comes out. However, for fans of top down shooters, and even the Hotline Miami vibes, this is a game you should try out. It is made by someone new to the industry, as they don’t seem to have any sort of game we could try out. Maybe this will just be some sort of experimental take in a genre and nothing more.
Knights in a Different SpaceTime looks promising however, and we shouldn’t underestimate it because it’s the first game from a totally new publisher. Toby Fox also surprised all of us when Undertale came out and that’s pretty much his first official game that wasn’t a Romhack. Of course, keeping expectations in check is crucial, this game looks simplistic but polished, and the only review of the game is positive, so it seems that despite being released it’s not getting enough traction. Hopefully this note can make things change, perhaps the last push to convince you is the fact that you can brew multiple builds in Knights in a Different SpaceTime.
