Tales of Berseria Remastered just got announced with a trailer, and fans didn’t expect this would be the one to get a remaster. It is very weird, as we can pretty much play this game without many issues in modern PCs, one thing to note is that the remaster does seem to be cheaper than the original game, so perhaps its a good time to just buy this version instead of the first one. Regardless, the Tales of Series fell off when they decided to change the gameplay from what we had on the SNES, Tales of Legendia being an attempt to go back to the better days.
Tales of Berseria Remastered got trailer
The trailer is more of what we know, Tales of Berseria is known to be quite edgy, with the plot about devouring demons and all that jazz. The series used to have a balance of edgy moments and wholesome moments, but now its whatever the setting calls it to be. The Tales of series survives only in the name, as it became popular overseas thanks to Tales of Symphonia, which was regarded as a pretty good game back in the day. Unfortunately identity is all that matters and in that aspect Tales of is a mess.
Tales of Berseria Remastered is coming in February 27th of 2026, and it seems that it might be the best version of the game available. It is clear that it will only change some graphical things being a remaster, but the shift won’t be a big one, hopefully they can correct some bugs of the original game to justify paying for it again. They should have honestly done a remaster patch for free instead of another thing you should buy, the game looks the same as it used to look, its only different shading. Anyways, mark your calendars for Tales of Berseria Remastered.
