Dragonhold gets an amazing launch on Steam in 2025

Dragonhold

Dragonhold just got released and the concept of this new PC game is amazing. If you are a big fan of games with huge dragons and some cooperative action, Dragonhold has you covered with some very interesting gameplay loop. This game reminded me of Panzer Dragoon for some reason, and it must be the perspective of how players ride their dragons. There is some big issues with the game however, it is riddled with micro transactions in a game you already have to pay for, which is honestly preposterous. If developers want a better score, they should fix this big problem.

Dragonhold has potential

Currently sitting at mixed reviews, Dragonhold has undeniable potential to become a better game. For those who really like multiplayer games of this kind, I would say go for it, but remember that this game is currently sitting on Early Access. There’s a huge probability a game like this will never make it out of early access period, because the list of features planned seems to be done in such a way as to implement them when there’s enough money garnered from the game. It is weird to see a game like this come out in 2025, but people seem to be rating it appropriately.

Dragonhold will come out of early access in around 6 months, and that amount of time feels too low for a game of this caliber made by what essentially is an indie studio. Indies making online games are quite bold to say the least, because this is the type of game that takes the most amount of resources and planning that often fails to come out. Hopefully, the developers behind this one can find a way to not only give what they promised to give, but also bring a quality game that can beat whatever the triple A industry is doing currently.
