ARC Raiders Kicks Off Week 5 Trials

The latest weekly challenges have arrived in Embark Studios’ popular extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. Week 5 Trials have started for the game’s dedicated players. This event introduces fresh objectives into the regular raiding cycle. Players who complete difficult tasks against the relentless ARC forces can earn rewards. The Trials system is a key part of the developer’s strategy to keep players engaged and add variation to the game’s chaotic landscape.

This week, the developer has focused the challenges on specific combat and objective-based actions. Players must deal critical damage to various ARC unit types, including the airborne Rocketeers and the disruptive Snitches, as well as general ground-based ARC enemies. Additionally, the objectives require players to perform specific actions linked to the core extraction loop. They need to download data during Hidden Bunker events and search First Wave Husks during their missions.

Completing these Trials is the way to earn valuable in-game resources. The challenges reward loot Packs with different gear, weapons, and cosmetic items essential for the ongoing war. It is important for participants to understand the unique scoring system: points are based only on the highest performance achieved in a single raid, so scores do not add up across multiple attempts. A single great run always beats several average ones.

Every Trial receives a three-tier star rating—1-star, 2-star, or 3-star—with difficulty increasing for better rewards for skilled players. Besides getting immediate gear, this system creates a competitive atmosphere. Points earned affect a player’s position on a global leaderboard. The Week 5 rotation forces players to change their tactics, shifting from basic resource gathering to executing precise, high-risk maneuvers needed to excel in the weekly rankings.
