Majogami gets an amazing demo for Steam NextFest 2025

Majogami

Majogami is stunning, and it has every element of a PC game done with pure soul behind it. It is clear that this is the case because Inti Creates is the one behind it, legendary developers behind the Mega Man Zero series. They are celebrating their 30th Anniversary as a company with this huge release and so far, it is the best demo available on the Steam NextFest. Majogami has a wild paper craft style going on for it, and the quick paced action you would find on a game like Gunvolt or Mega Man, Shiroha, the main character really feels as if you were playing Zero with a spin to it.

Majogami is the best demo in NextFest

There’s a ton to chose from, and a ton of slop to avoid, but rest assured that Majogami is there to keep you entertained for a long while. There is a ton of issues with NextFest events, especially when it comes to them being bloated with some undesirable “AI” slop. There is however a ton of studios that are pushing against this and that you can trust, and Inti Creates is one of these. If you want to try this fast paced action game you should check out the demo, it really hits all of the needed chords to make any real anime fan happy.

For those who are knees deep into otaku culture as a whole, Inti Creates always provides since it is uniquely Japanese, a thing many Japanese companies in the higher echelons have lost to appeal to the monotonous and often boring American aesthetic of slop realism. Homogenization is the biggest issue in the gaming industry and there’s a ton of things that can be done to fix it, the most obvious one is to avoid the usage of “AI” slop, it only stands out in the worst possible way and is a concession of lacking skills.
