Pragmata got some new upgrades coming up courtesy of Capcom, the new Shelter area is clearly a hub place to think what to do next and how to tackle each section of the game, at the same time, you can get various upgrades there, including a charge shot from a certain blue robot. I will be real, I wish this was some sort of a new Mega Man iteration, even if Capcom never wants to do Mega Man X9 again there needs to be at least something new for the series. Leaving that aside, the upgrade system is interesting to see in work.
Pragmata adds some upgrades
There really isn’t many things to say about this, upgrade systems are nothing innovative, in fact, this one seems quite similar to the one you would see if you play Mega Man X8, it even has the same sterile vibes to it. Capcom will create new IPs and move on from the things that made them what they are, relegating them to mere spinoff fodder, so we might see some Mega Man references here and there in this game since it seems quite appropriate. There does not seem to be more details, aside from the fact that voice acting feels quite obnoxious to listen to in English, I hope there’s a feature to change or turn it off.
Pragmata is certainly a new game however, and I do wonder if things will be harder or if this is just some gimmicky third person shooter with minor puzzle aspects. So far, things look very well and we can only hope that the game becomes a success for Capcom, maybe not as good as to receive sequels but who knows, we can always add more people to the pile of unfortunate souls awaiting for sequels to cliffhangers. Pragmata is coming for PC, Xbox, and PS5.
