Dying Light The Beast is now out, and it has tons of new things lurking in the shadows, awaiting for players to get their hands into this new entry of the ever popular Dying Light series to ensure they remain spooked for quite a while. Halloween season is upon us soon, so maybe you should stock up and have fun with your friends in this new and terrifying entry of a classic franchise that has been with us for more than a decade now. It is clear that this new entry is special because it marks the radical changes the series had without being a proper continuation of Dying Light 2 in number.

Fans have been asking for a new entry for quite a while, their pleads have been heard, only that this is no Dying Light 3 but an entry focused primarily on the open world aspects that Dying Light 2 was trying to achieve. With newer technology comes better possibilities to implement the game of your dreams, but at the same time it comes with a loss of creative freedom as workflows become more automated by the day reducing quality. Still, Dying Light The Beast seems to be a game done with passion, developers always want to provide the best.
It would be neat for Techland to implement some way for players to still play the game with each other in online cooperative mode without the need of using their official service. That way, the game can live forever in a similar fashion that the Dark Souls series and TF2 does nowadays thanks to the support of the community. Publishers should be more lenient when it comes to game preservation, as tons of online live service titles are being lost in the sands of time as we speak, let’s hope Dying Light The Beast does not become one of them.
