Battlefield 6 is finally here with three explosive trailers showcasing all the multiplayer mayhem along with the series’ signature full scale warfare that awaits you as the game launches October 10 this year. But you don’t have to wait that long to get your hands on the game as there will be several Open Betas for Battlefield 6 which will provide the first chances for players to experience the hugely anticipated multiplayer before its full release.
The Public Beta for Battlefield 6 will take place on two consecutive weekends starting Aug. 9 and if you’re among the players to get Early Access, you can start playing the multiplayer right from Aug 7. The first open beta Weekend is set to start at 1 a.m. PT Aug. 9 through Aug. 10 and the second will kick off at 1 a.m. PT Aug. 14 and run through Aug. 16. The first beta has five rewards to offer while the second one has three rewards which means you’ll need to play the Battlefield 6 beta for at least a set amount of time to get all of them.
And here are the list of rewards from both weekends of the Battlefield 6 beta:
Open Beta Weekend One
- Seeker Soldier Skin
- All-Terrain Soldier Skin
- Domination Weapon Package
- Lights Out Player Card Background
- Weapon Charms and More
Open Beta Weekend Two
- War Machine Vehicle Skin
- Bat Company Dog Tag
- Striking Distance Weapon Package
To get into the Early Access sessions of the open beta on August 7, you’ll need to watch a streamer in order to get a code and if you’ve already signed up for Battlefield Labs before July 31, you don’t need any codes and can just log in with the EA Account you registered with Battlefield Labs. After that, the beta opens for all players for the multiple weekend periods without needing any code.
And while the overall contents of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta hasn’t been announced so far, it’s expected that it will allow anyone to experience some of the maps and modes in the upcoming multiplayer shooter, sort of like an extended preview for the full game. Also it’s confirmed that the beta will allow players to choose either an “open” or “closed” weapon setup including playlists featuring signature weapons that are locked to a particular class.
