Deadlock gets 6 new Heroes, growing the number of available playable characters in the new Live Service by Valve. So far, nobody is really talking about it, and it kinda makes sense, there’s a burnout when it comes to these types of games and not many wish to engage with them. PC gamers are really getting tired of these kinds of games because all of them are over competitive, you need to participate on a ladder at a certain time and in the end, you just win if you have a team that is good. Games like this get old fast because all of them are just copy pastes of one another.
Deadlock gets 6 New Heroes, and then crickets
Yes, nobody is really playing Deadlock, it does not even show up on Steam charts or anything. Since everyone is always playing Counter Strike 2 anyways, it really makes no sense for Valve to just cannibalize the market with something that nobody asked for. Valve should stick to doing things like Half Life 3, but probably the only thing that will come out of that is nothing good since the original team of the series isn’t here anymore. Valve should actually focus on preventing games from being censored, but they don’t care either.
Perhaps the only way to resist censorship is join the Stop Censoring Games movement, which will restore our rights to consume adult media and create adult media too. There’s nothing much to say about the new heroes, they look bland, and rather generic too, it fills out the average tropes for games like this and there might even be some stolen kits from other dead live service you can’t get to play, trust me, those are many. The map has also been updated but, who will really play this when Fortnite and Counter Strike 2 exist, why does Deadlock exist?
