Dawn of War Definitive Edition just sold a ton of copies in a single day, marking a record that perhaps wasn’t reached when the game released way back then for PC gamers of the time. Not many remember how many copies the game sold initially, but at least the legacy of Dawn of War Definitive Edition lives on, and players will be able to engage with all of it on their newer systems without many issues. Modernizations like this are needed instead of remakes, since they often change the experience too much to even consider the game worth it. We at Infinite Start will cover this success from Relic Entertainment.
Dawn of War Definitive Edition sells well
The first days of the game selling are the most important ones, after all, those are the days the “trending days”, sort to speak in terms that are easily understood, everything falls of relevancy rather quick nowadays. We play a ton of games and do a ton of things and we can’t even get enough time to think about the things we buy or engage with. This is a reality that permeates everything we do, and unfortunately, gaming had to take a hit in quality to fit right into this sort of cycle. Long gone are the days of having few games with more quality.
Dawn of War Definitive Edition however, tries to bring us back to those days, there’s a ton of things to check out in this new Definitive version of the title, many fixes that improve the experience too. If the Dungeons and Dragons remaster I reviewed before was like this, it would have been cool to see a properly made port for newer systems. Dawn of War Definitive Edition will keep selling well, and if you are a fan of Warhammer, it is a must get.
