Ever since it’s release, Capcom’s massive hit Monster Hunter Wilds had been plagued by performance problems including poor FPS even in sufficiently high-end PCs but it clearly seems the upcoming Title Update 2 for the game will go to great lengths to address these woes once and for all as it not only reduces VRAM usage which would dramatically increase it’s performance for all Graphics Cards out there, but the patch will also add DLSS 4 and FSR 4.0 support in the game, allowing NVIDIA users to take advantage of the latest DLSS Transformer model which yields greater performance in many cases and allow AMD users to boost their FPS without sacrificing much in terms of image quality with FSR 4. So if Monster Hunter Wilds is currently performing less-than-ideal for you, the game’s Title Update 2 which is set to release June 30, can change your experience significantly for the better.
Capcom will also add DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen in the upcoming update which would let players with the newest RTX 50 series of GPUs to use up to x4 Frame generation that will add a massive performance boost into Monster Hunter Wilds.
Besides, Title Update 2 is also set to add two new monsters named Lagiacrus and Seregios and both of them are returning favorites from previous games in the series along with underwater combat plus layered weapons. Lagiacrus is sea wyvern who prefers a water-based habitat while Seregios is a medium sized monster with bright gold scales.
Capcom has also announced further additions for Monster Hunter Wilds including the next wave of cosmetic DLCs in June 30, the next tempered monster named Arch Temper Uth Duna in late July, a summer themed festival focused on whole new quests and new cosmetics which will run from July 23 to August 6 and Title Update 3 set to arrive in late September which will add another monster into the game.
It seems the upcoming patch will make Monster Hunter Wilds an even better game in major ways, check out all the patch notes here.
